If you don't want high purity you can probably buy it in a hardware
store. It is often sold as drain cleaner (caustic soda).

I can't match your 125g criteria and it's probably not that pure, but
you might want to try a "Home Hardware" store in Toronto - they sell
Gillett's Lye which according to my source is at least usable for soap
making. I didn't answer because I wasn't sure if that would be enough
data, but I thought maybe it would be helpful, so I supplied it as a
comment. Hope it helps!
