Hello, 

Recently a friend of mine brought me some cough drops named
"Graneodin" from Argentina. They were the best cough drops I have ever
had. I tried to look for them in the USA but was unable to find them.
I contacted Bristol Myers Squibb which makes them and they told me
that these cough drops were marketed as Cepacol in the USA.

When I used Cepacol, I found that these were nothing like the Graneodin ones. 

I am looking for a place where I can purchase Graneodin cough drops
within the USA.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I found a Mexican distributor that carries Graneodin. They ship
anywhere in the world. All orders to United States and Canada are
shipped from our office located in USA through US Postal Service.

From what I have been able to find, Graneodin and Cepacol both contain
the same active ingredient - Benzocaine.  However Cepacol does not
otherwise seem to be the same product.  The "inactive" ingredients may
make a big difference in how well perceived one product is versus
another.  It is quite likely Graneodin cough drops are not available
in the US, since importation laws for drugs are very strict.   The
best I can recommend is trying different products with Benzocaine as
the active ingredient to find one you might like.  Hopefully one of
the researchers can prove me wrong on this.

Yes. You are right. Benzocaine is the active ingredient. But it was
the overall combination that made Graneodin the best I have ever used
thus far. I have chronic nasal and throat issues so it would help if
you can even tell me an international website that may be willing to
ship them to the USA.
