What book/work does this character appear in? Do you know the name of
the author? Can you give any additional background information?

I was in sixth grade. I don't remember anything about the book except
that we named our 4-H unit after this character -- and I could be
spelling it incorrectly. Sorry, I don't have much to go on. --Susan

Hello.

I believe that you're thinking of "pfifltriggi." This was a type of
aliens in C.S. Lewis' space trilogy, Out of the Silent Planet. (1938),
Perelandra (1943), and That Hideous Strength (1945).

See: Google: pfifltriggi "silent planet"

The books is, of course, widely available at libraries or booksellers such as:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0743234901/

------
search strategy:
pfifl
pfifltriggi
pfifltriggi "silent planet"

I hope this helps.
