Insurance Sales Manager in a well known captive insurance company to
become an independent agent?
Subset Questions:
I am struggling with:
How to best time my move?
How well do my skillset and mind set align with the demands of being
an independent agent who must have great sales skills compared to my
current position where I have great leadership skills and good sales
skills?
Where can I find the best sources of information that will ready me
for every phase of a transition into the career of an independent

a) I am very experienced with Long Term Care insurance, Fixed
Annuities, Equity Indexed Annuities, Easy Issue Senior Whole Life,
Medicare supplements, and (non-variable) Universal Life.
b) These would be the same products I would sell independently.

-The difficulty, and ultimately the primary problem and question, is
that 75% of my current income is from the individuals I manage. If I
"Go Alone". it is only me.
