Hi- Wher can I buy made-to-measure picture frames on line in the UK?

I have 2 places in the UK tha you can order custom frames online. I
actually knew this becaise I used to work in a curtom framing shop,
and I had a lady visiting "across the pond" here to America, and she
asked me this same question.

Here are 2 great places. We Have Glanville frames, here are what they
require to ship.
"We have a minimum order value of £60.00 plus postage & packing for
frames that are sent through the post. For mounts only the minimum
order value is £40.00 plus postage & packing. There is no minimum
order value on goods that are collected. Postage & packing is £12.00
up to 20kgs. Any frames that are sent through the post have
unbreakable clear acrylic sheet instead of glass."

I think your answer is really poor. You can't actually buy
made-to-measure picture framing on line at any of your recommendations
, but you can on this site. www.fastframes.co.uk

Can I have my money back please as you did not find the site in the UK
which does the service that I requested .

I also contacted them, because it looked like the online ordering form
was for pre-mades, and they said that " If you have any special
requierments give us a ring or send us an e-mail, we can always come
to some arrangment." as is also quoted on the main page of the site.
So, you CAN order online, and also they do custom orders. You just
have to order online, and then call or send an email with the details
to accompany your order.

Also, the first site I mentioned says...
"Special size frames and mounts can also be made, please ring or email
our sales team for a quotation."

This also, to me, looks like your question.... "Wher can I buy
made-to-measure picture frames on line in the UK?" E-mailing an order
is buying online...you then pay them and they mail out your frames.
So, these options gave you 2 different ways to place an order by using
the internet, thru an online secure form or by email.

Neither of these sites require a phone call to place an order, you pay
shipping, and the custom frames are delivered to you. I'm sorry if you
were confused by my answer, but I did go back and double check, and
you can get frames ordered thru the internet with both these sites.
I'm sorry if you were dissapointed, but I do feel that my answer
offers the service you're looking for.

Both the sites mentioned by nenna mention that they do custom frame
sizes to order, so what's the problem?

The problem is that I asked for a site which offers ONLINE
made-to-measure framing and neither site does. They offer framing via
mail order but you cannot order made-to-measure framing online.

I could have gone to the yellow pages and got a list of 5000 picture
framers in the UK , I wanted one which offered 'custom framing'
ONLINE.

So...your answers were completely incorrect.

So what you're saying is the site has to specifically have an online
form in which to input your frame size, rather than giving the company
a call or emailing them the size you require?

I agree with Fred - as living here in the UK I also wanted a "made to
measure" frame I could order online- not one of a group of
pre-selected sizes.
  I looked at all the sites that you gave as an answers - but like
Fred- they did not meet the question that was asked.  What I did find
