What is the size and percentage of the African-American middle/upper class?
What are the numbers of middle/upper class African-Americans admitted
to universities in proportion to the above question?
What is the legal definition of "economically disadvantaged"?
What percentage of the population are the "economically disadvantaged"
and what is their admission rate (to all universities)?

Basically, I'm looking for percentages of minorities as a whole
accepted versus their representation in the population, and then again
only considering those who are economically successful. You can
report as many numbers/statistics as you want, I'm not looking for a
short and quick answer.

I have occasionally seen numbers, but I suspect they are mostly
educated guesses. Generally it is not considered politically correct
to ask a person about their minority status, if any. It is risky to
record your guess reguarding the minority status. Charges of
discrimination can result, even if you are reverse prejudiced = think
minorities should get lots of affirmative action, set asides, and
quotas. Can you prove you are reverse discrinatory?
My personal observation is minorities who have employment are
slightly inferior to whites in essentually the same job, so I conclude
minorities have equal opportunities with whites of the same skill and
attitude. That is average. I have observed a few glaring exceptions in
all directions.
I have no recent contact with Universities or their students, but my
guess is minorities are rarely excluded who have comparable
probabilities of passing the courses. Do you think we should dumb down
our Universities? Neil
