I would like to buy an audio recording of Tennessee Williams reading
his own poetry. I'd prefer a CD, but a cassette tape is fine if
that's all there is. I already have the 1964 recording of The Glass
Menagerie which includes a few poems. Ideally I want something that
is all poetry.

Hi caitlinm!

I have located online recordings of Tennessee Williams at the 92ND
Street Y (Nov. 22, 1982) reading the following:

Poem: 'Old Men Were Never Young'
Poem: 'A Fable'
Poem: 'Faint as a Leaf Shadow'
Poem: 'Arctic Light'
Poem: 'Cellophane Boxes'
Story: 'The Final Strategic Retreat'
Poem: 'The Dangerous Painters'

Would a link to the website where you may listen to these recordings
be of your interest?

Thanks
Bobbie7

My grandmother thinks she read that there was a recording one could
purchase, but maybe it is out of print. I wanted to locate it if
possible for Mother's Day. However, she does have internet access
(she's a cyber-grandma!) and would probably be interested in the
website you describe.

So yes, all in all, I'd be happy to take a link to that website as my answer.

Thanks for your help!
Caitlin
