I am looking for online classifieds/auction sites that will allow me
to resell some small products (furniture, houseware, etc) by either
auctioning it as on eBay or just posting a small advertisement like on
craigslist.org. I personally do not care if they are paid or not, I
just hope to find a place that has lots of exposure and not some "pay
$50.00 and we will sell your item for you" site that gets 30 hits a
day. I currently know of a few:

www.ebay.com - paid auction site, best for exposure
www.craigslist.org - classifieds site, advertisement posted as text
auctions.yahoo.com - paid auction site, good exposure

You might look into ePier (www.epier.com).  They aren't nearly as big
as eBay, but they get some traffic and (last I checked) you could list
items for free.
