Hello,
I'm working on some questions for a legal enviroment assignment. The
question inbolves an American company doing business in the EU.
The first scenerio involves the American Company buying its way into
shelf space at grocery stores and paying bars, grills, pubs and diners
to stock his Soda products. Is this practice acceptable in the EU?
The second scenerio deals with possible copyright/trademark
infringement. The american company decides to mimic products already
in existence in the EU by changing packaging and product names in
order to trick consumers into thinking they are purchasing an already
established brand. Is this practice acceptable in the EU?
If possible please provide links to documentation.
Thank you
