Maybe http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=317885 can be helpful for you. You will however not need a pre-amp if you use a tape deck as input source. The part dealing with audio recoding software could help you. till-ga |

probonopublico-ga: An unfortunately pricey, and super-geeky, solution is this one: http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/drives/6908/ After accounting for shipping and duties, though, it is most certainly not an economical solution! It does, however, provide your PC with its very own tape deck! aht-ga Google Answers Researcher |

Many thanks, Till & Aht ... Great Links. Of course, I forgot to mention that I have two recorders: one that uses Standard Audio tapes and a Dictating Machine that uses Micro-Cassette tapes ... But I've now got the picture. Warmest regards Bryan |
