What database would you suggest for finding out what piece of property
a certain person had purchased within the past six months? I'm
speaking specifically of Fresno County CA. I know they used Fidelity
Title in Fresno to do the deal. I need the physical address of such
property.

Hello tradermom-ga,

The Fresno County web site has an excellent search page that allows
one to search recorded documents by the persons name, within specified
time periods.

The Fresno County Recorded Document Search Page
http://assessor.fresno.ca.gov/fresno/srecord_oracle.shtml

Enter the persons name and select the dates you wish to search.
Select the document type, in your case, "Mortage" or "Deed" should
work. It might take a couple tries, because I didn't see a choice to
"search all document types" at the same time.

Alternatively, to get it right the first time, can call the Recorder's
office and ask them what specific document type to search for to
locate a recent property purchase. There number is here:

General Information - Recorded Documents: (559) 488-3471

If I can assist further, please don't hesitate to ask. However,
please be aware that I am not allowed to post personal identifying
information in an answer, should you want me to do the actual search
for you, I could not post the results.

Good luck, let me know how it goes!!

~~Cynthia
