I'm looking to buy some autoresponder/email marketing software for our
business and want to make a good choice. I have spent about a week
searching online for what's available and have narrowed it down to
four software packages to decide on. Now I need some help discerning
the differences and similarities.

I require the following 4 pieces of software compared to a high level of detail:
1. Promosoft Autoresponder (Personal version) at www.autoreplying.com 
2. Autoresponse Plus at www.autoresponseplus.com 
3. Gammadyne at www.gammadyne.com/mmail.htm (which also works with CP-Report below)
4. Customer Paradigm (Email Builder and CP-Report together) at
www.customerparadigm.com

What I'm after is a list (or matrix/table) comparing all their
features in detail(just those features shown at their websites is
fine).

Specifically I'm interested exaclty where the products differ - not
just where they are the same ? so a list of the features that are
different is the best place to start - then do a list of the features
they all share.

Some additional work which I will tip above the set price for is:
A. Create a list of the pros/cons regarding autoresponder software
that is desktop based vs server based, ie; some packages are attached
to your website webserver and autoresponde from there - others are
installed on your desktop PC and send emails that way. I know the
obvious pros & cons (eg; server is always on but home PC isn't) so
wanted to find out any hidden traps not obvious.

B. Whether each of the above 4 autoresponders compared (if web server
based software) will connect/run from where our website is hosted -
the webserver is Win2000 and uses .asp pages (our webhost is
www.webcentral.com.au and we are on the ?Professional 2004? plan under
?Products & Prices? section).

B. Any credible, real user reviews/experiences/comments you can find
regarding these 4 software packages - particularly at the user forums
provided by the software vendors (or unbiased reviews by ZDNet or
CNet.com, etc). Anything credible would be good.

These last parts (A-B) are optional and I'm open to
expanding/continuing the research if the quality of work is good.
