What is the name of the event where President Bush self-quipped
non-existence of mass destruction weapons in Iraq? Maybe that is the
same event where President Clinton appeared along with Senator Hillary
Clinton and then-VP Al Gore right after the House of Representatives
attempt to impeach President Clinton failed associated with Lewinsky
scandal.

The event you remember was the annual Radio and Television
Correspondents Association dinner, which was held this year on March
24.

Here is a link to a transcript of President Bush's remarks:
Townhoall.com: President's Remarks at Correspondents Dinner
http://www.townhall.com/news/politics/200403/POL20040325b.shtml

The following reference to WMD in his remarks accompanied a series of
photographs showing him looking in various places:

"Those weapons of mass destruction have got to be somewhere. (Laughter
and applause.)

"As you can tell from the look on Andy Card's face, we've become a
little concerned about the Vice President lately. (Laughter.) Whenever
you ask him a question, he replies, "Let's see what my little friend
says." (Laughter.) But we get along well. Here I am saying, "Dick, if
the Hunan Palace doesn't get lunch here in four minutes, we're going
out." (Laughter.)

"Nope, no weapons over there. (Laughter and applause.) Maybe under
here. (Laughter.) Oops, this photo wasn't supposed to be in here."

And here is a link to a Washington Post article that describes the
Democrats' reaction to that portion of the remarks:
Washington Post: Democrats Call Bush's Comedy Skit Tasteless
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A24883-2004Mar25.html

If you use the following simple Google search, you can find many links
to other reactions to the controversial remarks, from sources of every
political stripe:

Search Strategy:

I am familiar with the annual event, as well as Bush's remarks at this
year's gathering, so I found the text and the press coverage of it
with the search terms I provided above.

I am confident that this is the information you are seeking, and I was
happy to be able to find the information for you promptly. If anything
is unclear, please ask for clarification before rating this answer.

This answer is what I expected except a missing line on President
Clinton. Thanks a lot!

Thanks much for the five-star rating and the nice tip.

I apologize for not referring in my answer to former President
Clinton's appearances before press organizations after the impeachment
effort failed in February 1999. In the spring of that year, he made
humorous speeches at several such events, including the Radio and
Television Correspondents Association dinner, the White House
Correspondents Association Dinner and the Gridiron Club. Here is a
link to the text of several speeches by President Clinton and Vice
President Gore, including the first two I mentioned (the Gridiron Club
event is always considered to be "off-the-record");

speeches in the collection)
