Hello Rockshow,
I've seen a message thread where someone has an SVC 215 recorder and
its manual. One person on this message thread mentioned that he could
scan the manual and give it to the one who asked. The one with the
manual lives in Germany. Are you sure the model of the recorder is SVC
612, and not 216? It's just a possibility.

Hi techtor,
I have checked and it is definitely a Schneider SVC 612 6 head nicam stereo.

So far, all I have found was the mention of the SVC 215 model. I doubt
there's much mention of the SVC 612 anywhere on the Web.

I have re checked the VCR & it was manufactured by Schneider Germany.
I can't think it is that old as it is Nicam Stereo, has Video Plus and
has 6 heads. I wonder if Schneider themselves have any copies on their
databases, I will make enquiries.

Hi rockshow
Just a point of information - many electronic products that appear to
be made by different manufacturers are actually the same base product
in a different case, especially in Europe. (e.g. Schneider & Pacific
DVD players are the same machine). So your Schneider video player may
be the same as another player. Just a thought to help your search.
