Question ID: 337044
I recall having seen a poster of a woman in a white 1930's era dress
standing atop one of the towers of a bridge under construction. I had
always thought it was the San Francisco Bay Bridge, but I can't find
it in any archive of Bay Bridge pictures.

I would like to purchase a copy of this picture/poster

Hi, I suppose it's hard to remember any details, but anything you can
offer will help. For example, I assume you mean a 1930s photograph?
And therefore black and white? Also, do you have any idea where you
saw it (a photography book, a history book, an art book?). I wracking
my brain to no avail so far, but love the challenge! Thanks for any
help you can offer.

Yes,

My recollection is a black and white photo graph. I thought I saw it
in a picture book, not a poster store, but I'm not sure.

As I recall, the woman, a blond, wearing a white long dress has one
leg kicked out so the skirt flows. I also recall that she appears to
be standing on either one of the support towers or on one of the
suspension cables.

Maybe I was dreaming.

thanks
