More than likely the leak is a cartridge/O-ring problem or defect. 
That will need to be replaced.

The cartridge comes with the O-ring and the part number is:
Moen # 88431  

If it's just the O-ring that needs replaced that part number is:
Moen # 80491

Wait for the prompts then press 2 for kitchen faucets, and then press 3.

They will troubleshoot the leak problem with you on the phone, and try
to help.  If it can be repaired they'll be able to assist you.  If
not, and it's still under warranty - the faucet will be replaced.
