I would like some help in understanding more about Insurance Marketing
companies. Also, which Insurance Marketing Organizations I should
affiliate with when I make a career shift. I am currently a Sales
Manager for a Captive Insurance Company. I have decide to become an
independent agent and have been approached by several "Marketing
Firms". I need to make some tough decisions quickly about how to best
transition into a new career. One such Marketing company called 'Asset
Management Systems' is impressive. They have offered to fly me to San
Diego to learn about their marketing firm at no cost to me. Another is
'Safe Harbor Financial'. How in the world do I decipher all of this
information to make the best decision? Also, I am going to need a lot
of resources because I am "green" in relation to being an independent
agent. The irony for me is that I have earned over six figures in each
of the last 3 years yet I feel my knowledge base and comfort level are
poor when it comes to the overall industry. I want and need to be a
top producing agent specializing in Long Term Care Insurance, Fixed
Annuities, Equity Indexed Annuities, Medicare Supplement plans, and
Life insurance. This is such a life altering topic for me because a
lot rides on my decision, preparedness, continuing education about
this industry, and personal follow through. Can you help me relly
understand these marketing companies?
