I would like some graphical icons (windows) for the "copy and paste"
funtion.  animated ones would be especially appreciated.  I need some
ideas for icons for a software program.

A good example of what I'm looking for is the MS Copy thingy that
comes with Office - but I obviously can't copy that.  Just a few
(3-10) examples of icons used for the copy or paste function.  Thanks!

Lucky for you, people create icons and distribute them online for free
all the time.  A good site to get icons is deviant art.  Here's a

If you will be distributing your product commercially, you may
encounter some copyright issues.

Animated Icons

I've never come acrosa any copy and paste icons that are animated (the
.ani formatl, usually).

BTW, if you don't have a good icon editor/viewer suite, try
Microangelo.  It's a good well rounded package.  Get it from
http://www.eclipsit.com/microangelo.asp .  With it, you can extract
icons from executables and dlls, such as office.  If I come across any
animated copy and paste icons, I'll post a new comment.
