Do you have the date of the lecture, where it was given, anything like
that? That sort of detailed information would help us try and come up
with an answer quicker for you.

Rabbi Harold Kushner gave this lecture approximately a dozen years ago
at the annual convention of the Rabbinical Assembly, which is the
national professional organization for Consevative Rabbis. In this
lecture on dealing with the dying patient, Rabbi Kushner stressed one
concept: The dying patient is not afraid of dying; he/she only fears
two things--pain and dying alone. Rabbi Kushner then went on to
address this problem. I know for a fact that this lecture was
recorded; the question is whether it was put into writing. It could
be in the year book of the Rabbinical Assembly or in notes of the
convention proceedings.

Hello oodoobee-ga,

This is a sermon by Kushner on your topic and it's accompanied by an
interview with him. I wasn't able to find the presentation you're
looking for but this will give you insights into Kushner's thoughts on
the subject.

I know for a fact that this lecture was recorded. The question is,
was it put into writing. It could possibly be in the year book of the

Since it may take more than a few minutes, or even hours to correctly
research this question, I suggest that you consider increasing your

75% of the listed price, and $1.50 is a lower price for what could be
an hours of work.

I just skimmed the tables of contents of the RA Proceedings from 1987
to 2000, and did not find this talk written up. Sorry!
