I am looking for the titles, date, publisher of books published on the
subject of Polish CYRK posters. Books that mainly contain CYRK
posters - not books that might contain only a handful of CYRK posters.
CYRK posters were printed in Poland from the 1950s to approximately
1989.

I've found several books on artists from the Cyrk poster collection,
but not one book containing the entire collection. Would you be
willing to accept a list of these books from the Polish School of
Posters as a satisfactory answer?

There is no answer at this time.

I followed pattisw's link and read the history for CYRK posters here
http://www.contemporaryposters.com/story/story.shtml. searching under
CYRK didn't yield all that much, as I'm sure you've already found. I
had better luck searching under the individual artists' names, and
found the following books. I'm not altogether sure how many
reproductions are dedicated to the circus posters though. you can
find these books at this website

Hi Mr. Mayer,

My, what a lovely site you have! I'm so glad you found the
information helpful but since your question has expired, I'm unable to
move this text to the answer section.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you be a mensch and repost
your question with my name on it? I'll gladly cut and paste this info
along with some additional tidbits I've found since your original
posting. It seems researching Le CYRK has become my obsession lately
-- a thoroughly enjoyable one, I might add!

Barring reposting of your question, you could send me Rafal
Olblinski's poster "Wielblad" % Google Answers instead. I have a
thing for camels. ;-)

p.s. Are you familiar with Zdzislaw Bekinski's work? Fascinating.

Namaste,
V
