Clarification of Question by

Hi,
Let me clarify what my problem is. I recently purchased an Okidata
C5100n color printer. It has a NIC interface (as well as USB), and I
have connected to a small network. At the time that I noticed my
problem only one computer and the printer were on the network. The
printer has a static IP address, the computer has a quasi static IP
address. If I attempt to print a document from Microsoft word, I get
an error message to the effect that the margins are beyond print area
allowed. If I proceed from this point the document will be printed,
but the text is a much smaller pitch then it should be. This only
occurs on the first document (not the first page), subseqent documents
print fine. If I print the same document on a different Okidata
printer connected via a parallel port or a third printer connected via
a USB port, the latter two print fine, the first time (so I am kind of
ruling out Word as the culpret). Since the driver for the printer is
supplied by Okidata, I contacted Okidata customer support. They were
not able to help me. This problem is not a "show stopper", but it is
an annoyance. As soon as I got off the phone I went to google to see
if I could find someone else that had this problem and perhaps a cure
for it. I did not have any luck. I did several searches using various
key words. I suspect it may have something to do with what is going on
in the network, but cannot be sure.
Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated
