Where can I buy canvas cable sleeves?

I have a TV cart on wheels, and I want to protect the bundle of cables with
some sort of wrap when I move the cart around. I'm looking for something in the
range of 15-25 feet long.

Are you looking for more of a full covering of the wires, as in like a full
length sleeve over all the cables? Or would a solution that just tied the
cables with cable ties every so many inches?

I suspect that this may be exactly what you're looking for:

Not canvas (fire hazard, as mentioned below), but a thin polyester
that should be as flexible as canvas. Cut to your specification,
available in sizes up to 1.25".

That's pretty darn close to what I was looking for. Another
possibility I just thought of is the types of coverings used to
enclose heavy chains (e.g. in bike locks). An example:

these now.

In any case, thanks; I'll give the polyester stuff a try.

The same polyethylene sleeve wrap that's used in automotive engine
compartments is available in larger sizes. The wrap is a corrugated
plastic tube that
is slit lengthwise. Once you insert the cables into the sleeve, the
sleeve's memory tends to keep it closed. As previously mentioned cable
ties could be
used to ensure that the sleeve stays closed and does not bulge open
under stress.

The sleeves can be found in auto parts stores and some farm supply
stores. NAPA, the nationwide auto parts chain, could order the sleeves
for you if
they're not in stock. You'll need the largest size because the sleeves
are normally used with smaller diameter wiring.

A home made solution would be to find an appropriate vinyl garden hose
or some of the light weight polyethylene tubing stocked by home
centers such
as Home Depot or Lowes. The downside is that you'll need to slit the
hose or tubing yourself. Again the cable ties can be used to keep the
sleeve closed
after the cables are in place.

Canvas as a sleeving material for wiring would be a potential fire
hazard.

Another possibility can be found by searching for cable organizers.
Some of these are spiral wraps that you wind around the cables. There
are numerous
sources such as http://www.rca.com/product/viewmodellist/browseproduct/0,2589,PN1-OBmodel_number_txt-CI205,00.html.
Locally, Radio Shack
be able to supply them.

Hope this helps.
