What are the effects on the subjects of standardized psychological testings such as the WISC or the MMPI? Are there negative effects associated with these tests? Since every question is an inverted statement, it makes sense that the subjects will undergo various experiences during and following psychological testing. Are there inherent dangers to the subjects? |

Not sure about the dangers of the experience of the tests but the results themselves may have a harmful effect. Some Scandinavian countries use psychometric tests in selecting applicants for jobs, just like many other countries. Except the taker is allowed to see the results and destroy them before the prospective employer gets a chance to see them. Also employers in Italy arent allowed to use them at all. Maybe you will find out something about yourself you dont want to know or others to know about! |
