Dear john1930-ga,

St Paul?s Cathedral records are held at the Guildhall Library in London.

This is a leaflet which gives some information on the general contents
of the archive.

"Guildhall Library Manuscripts Section ? St Paul?s Cathedral Archives
at Guildhall Library"
http://www.history.ac.uk/gh/stp.htm

In the leaflet, Mapesbury is detailed as being one of the prepends
(Section DCPE). One is then referred to the section on manorial and
estate records associated with most of these prebends. This is section
DCPN.
Further down the page is 'DCPN, Dignitaries and prebendaries?
estates'. Mapesbury however, does not appear there. It may be that
extensive records for Mapesbury do not survive, or they have not been
catalogued fully.

I have searched the catalogue under DCPN and this entry may be of assistance:
DCPN028 Prebendal estates: "Registers of prebendal leases 1721"

A general search of the catalogue using the Keyword facility produces
4 results for Mapesbury. Again these entries may be of interest.

To access the catalogue, go to

Click> Keyword
Enter Mapesbury in the search box

Specific enquiries on the archive can be addressed to:

E-mail: manuscripts.guildhall@corpoflondon.gov.uk

Personally, I have found the staff of Guildhall Library to be very helpful.

I hope this answers your question. If it does not, or the answer is
unclear, then please ask for clarification of this research before
rating the answer. I shall respond to the clarification request as
soon as I receive it.
Thank you

I should have added that it may be worth contacting the London
Metropolitan Archives. They hold extensive records for the London area
(no internet catalogue available). Contact details on this link.
