"Mio zio non era futurista" is Italian. It means "my uncle was not futuristic."

This phrase was used as the title of a novel by Luigi Baldacci:

"si veda il Ğromanzoğ intitolato Mio zio non era futurista" (Luigi
Baldacci, in Branca 1986: vol. I pag. 379)."
