OK, I saw a new paperback in a bookstore recently whose first paragraph (I think) said something about these two guys who looked fairly normal, except that they were 7 feet tall. I think the book was about vampires, and it almost surely was horror. I was going to buy the book but I had to go and cannot easily return to the bookstore (a Barnes and Noble). Anyone know for sure what the book was? Please don't bother actually researching this - I think you will either know or you won't. |

This is not the book I am looking for. It's first paragraph does not have any seven-foot tall guys walking around, as I specified. |

Maybe it was Laurell K. Hamilton (the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series)? I think I remember something like that... good luck. |
