Question ID: 338505
I recently installed SP6 on my Netware 5.1 server to accommodate my ADP upgrade.
ADP uses Centura SQLBase. The SP6 upgraded my server with Pervasive SQL 2000,
which is incompatible with SQLBase. Can I uninstall Pervasive without damaging
the Netware OS? ADP tells me I cannot upgrade the ADP software until I get rid
of Pervasive. Help?

I believe Pervasive is the database that Netware uses for 'eDirectory'
or NDS. Removing it may break your server completely.

If you have a FULL install of Pervasive database you may be able to
get away with it, however. I run Pervasive SQL 2000 on a single
Netware server. I uninstalled it and the server ran fine. Note,
there is a difference between the 'stock' Pervasive database and the
one you buy from Pervasive (formerly Btrieve).
