I did find the following website that lists fishing industry contacts
for each country:

http://www.sea-ex.com

According to this website, there are three seafood industry companies
that buy seafood products wholesale from fishermen in Costa Rica for
export. They are:

#1
Company: Buro Maritimo de Costa Rica S.A.
Contact: Juan Mora Cerdas
Location: Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Telephone: 253 1002 253 8657
Email address: morajuan@racsa.co.cr

#2
Company: Corp. Cameronera la Parrita, S.A.
Contact: Phil Pruett
Location: Parrita, Costa Rica
Telephone: 393 1884 779 9378
Email address: ppruett947@aol.com

#3
Company: Sardimar S.A.
Contact: Thomas M. Gilmore
Location: San Jose, Costa Rica
Telephone: 204 7676 204 7373
Website: http://www.sardimar.com

Unfortunately, I didn't find anyone who specified the particular
coastline where the seafood was purchased. It is not that big a
country and my guess is that any broker of any size is going to deal
with fishermen and itermediaries throughout the country.

I also found a Costa Rican export directory at the following site:

http://www.bruncas.com/crexport/food.html

If you'll click on the link near the top entitled "3114 Foods, Drinks,
Tobacco" you'll see a number of companies under the following seperate
headings:

Dried fish
Fish filet
Fresh fish
Lobster
Seafood
Shark cartilage
Shark fins
Shrimps
Tuna

Also, the following site is titled Costa Rica Business: Costa Rica
Industrial Base. It lists a number of seafood brokers in several
different categories such as shark fin, etc.

http://www.westnet.com/costarica/indexindustry.html

The following site lists fish importers and exporters in Costa Rica

http://www.importers-exporters.com/fish_seafood.htm

I hope I'm on the right track on this. But if I misread your request,
please respond with a comment and I'll go back to work!
