I have a rather absurd problem.  
I have been trying to reach a live person to purchase advertising from
MSN for almost 3 weeks, to no avail.  I have a client who wants to
immediately spend $100k to advertise with them (and only them!), but
no one from MSN will call me back, and I'm starting to look bad!

I need the name and phone number (not just email address, please) of a
contact PERSON in MSN Advertising Sales, ideally for the West Coast,
but I'd be willing to accept anyone at this point.

This should *not* be the "standard contact info" from
advantage.msn.com (although that may be a good place to start).  By
"standard contact info" I mean, nothing from
http://advantage.msn.com/contactus/contactus.asp or
http://advantage.msn.com/contactus/uscontacts.asp or
http://advantage.msn.com/contactus/international.asp.  All of those
phone numbers and email addresses go to voice mail and autoresponders,
respectively.  I've already sent a number of emails and left voice
mails without success.  I've also spoken to Microsoft's main
switchboard and the folks at BCentral to get additional numbers -- all
of them voice mail.

They sure do make it hard to buy advertising from them!  $100k might
not be a lot for MSN, but surely there's SOMEONE on the their staff
who would like to help me with this.  Your help in finding that person
would be much appreciated.

Okay, I finally have an answer for you! After being on the phone with
MSN for half the day, leaving email, and phone messages, and talking
to the home office in Redmond, WA. (I think I lost money on this one
:)) I FINALLY got a return phone call from a live human being that
promised to answer the phone personally. He'll be in the office late
tonight and all day tomorrow - presumably waiting for your phone call.

He's in LA and I'm not sure how big his territory is. If you're not in
his territory I'm sure he can pass you over. Anyway, he's alive!!
