Just a minor correction, the list was compiled by AsiaWeek magazine,
which was apparently owned by TIME.

The seven IITs (Indian Insstitutes of Technology) are all the
same-level and select the créme-de-la-créme of Indian schools through
a very competitive examination (The JEE).
