Dear wonderboy5000:

Thank you for your question.

There are numerous sources of finance for the small business, and most
of them require little of your own capital. Among these, the most
popular are conventional loans, venture capital, and angel financing.
I will give you resources on all three of these sources.

First, the best article that exactly deals with your question would be
"Financing Your Business Startup with Little or No Money", from
About.com:
http://sbinformation.about.com/library/weekly/aa121197.htm

The article outlines the most common resources for financing a
startup, and gives you excellent resources online to find more
information on all of them.

Another great article is MoreBusiness.com's "Overview of Financing
Options":
http://www.morebusiness.com/running_your_business/financing/overview.brc

EntreWorld.com has links to many, many articles divided into different
financing categories (angel, venture, loans) that cater to the small
business demographic. Here are the links to the general categories.

Entreworld.com Financing - Conventional Sources:

Entreworld.com Financing - Loans:

Entreworld.com Financing - Angel:

Entreworld.com Financing - Venture Capital:
http://www.entreworld.org/Channel/SYB.cfm?Topic=FincVcap

Finally, for some inspiration, ;) , a link to a great article on
Inc.com showcasing 11 companies that were started with less than $1000
dollars in capital:
Bootstrapping: Great Companies Started with Less than a Thousand
Dollars

Google Search Strategy:

"zero capital" OR "no capital" financing "small business"

I hope this was the information you were looking for! If you need any
clarifications, please don't hesitate to ask. I would be more than
happy to assist you further.

Best Regards,
blader-ga

It appeared that your Inc. link to Bootstrap companies started for
$1,000 didn't make it into your posted text. I was intrigued by the
title, and looked it up. The article can be found here:
