How can I recreate adm. athority? That was mistakenly deleted.I do not
have the C D that came with our hp pavilion 540n.

When I go to the control panel, I see only 1 user -----(sign-in name) limited 
I would like to do a restore? But a message tells me I don't have that athority?

Hi, when you say adm. do you mean Administrators account?

I don't beleive that you can erase the true administrators account.

Go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts

From there you can see all the account (icons) related to your system.
From there you can also create administrator accounts.

Only a administrator can delete/make an administrator account, however
you can not delete an account that your currently logged on to. Hence
there will always be an administrator account on your system.

I was testing posibity's\ My kids have been downloading programs,Like
madblast.com \ It's been bringing in  ad-ware thats driving us crazy?
I was exparamenting when I changed the wrong sign-on to limited. Can
you help?

Administrator account cannot be changed to limited , after a restart
it is back to administrator
