Clemiedoll,
I am very sorry to hear about the health problems your wife is having.
There are many ways you could sell the supplies locally, and/or nation
and worldwide. First, we'll cover the local options. I'll give you
some examples of some ads that you could put out.
1. Craft stores.
Most craft stores, hobby stores, anywhere that sells anything similar
to yours. Most of these places have a bulletin board that you can put
up an advertisement on for an amount of time. You could make yourself
a flier listing what you have for sale, with some of those tear off
tabs at the bottom with your phone #. If people are going into the
store to get doll-making supplies already, and can see they'll get a
great deal, they'll call. Moreover, since you're listing it "in the
lion's den" so to speak, you're marketing to the right audience. Here
is an article talking about these types of fliers, just to give you an
idea of how they work.

2. Local publications and newspapers. Some offer free classified ads,
some have a small fee, but, depending on how big their circulation is,
can reach 100's to 1,000,000's of people telling them what you have to
sell. Most people will list something like
" __________________________ For sale. $0.00 OBO (or best offer)
Please call Ken or Barbie after 5 PM @ 123-555-5555" Here are the
sorts of ad's you can place in papers. Here are tips on writing a
successful classified ad

3. Speaking of classified ads, there are also online classified ads.
You can use these if you don't mind asking people to pay for shipping,
and then mailing off what they bought to them.

At that listing, not only will you find online classified ads, but you
will find listings of all sorts of publications you can put hard copy
ads in as well. The more you list, more people you reach to see your
supplies.
4. You could sell on an online message board to a specific audience.
For example, in your case, you would want to find a MSG board for
porcelain doll makers to try to sell your supplies. Here are a few
places to start. You set up a user name usually, to be able to post to
the boards, and then you advertise and correspond with the prospective
buyers, if any, to determine the details of a sale.

5. Last, but certainly not least, you have EBAY!

EBay is a worldwide search engine that lets you search for the items
you want to buy, and there is usually someone selling. Here is a link
to the FAQ/Sitemap page of EBay, that will tell you sow to get
started, list items, etc.

Selling things, especially in today's electronic world, is a snap. I
bet even trying two or three of these options will get your items
started selling. If this answer requires further explanation, please
request clarification before rating it, and I'll be happy to look into
this further.
