We are a small Real Estate Agency. We deal with renters and we must
run credit checks on the renters. We used to use a local company to
whom we would have to fax a signed release by the renter to check the
renter?s credit record.

Is there an internet source we could use to get a full credit report
on potential renters? We would sign up with a formal company if
necessary. We are not looking to save money, but we are looking for
an easy-to-use, reliable Credit Reports resource.

Do a Google web search for "merged credit report." You want the
reports of all 3 agencies, experian, equifax, and trans union, because
sometimes a collection will not be reported on all three. I worked
for a mortgage company, and our negotiated deal with whoever we were
using (sorry, can't remember) was $15 for a merged report that we
could pull off the internet. I believe that price was based upon the
volume of reports we ordered. Best wishes.
