I had serious doubts I would find a ?Mapquest? kind of feature for
you. But I did! On Mapquest! I decided to test Mapquest, and it
functions perfectly for thrift shops! Because I found this feature, I
have chosen to answer your question, before you answer my
clarification request. If this answer does *NOT* include the
information you were seeking, please request an Answer Clarification,
before rating. This will allow me to assist you further, if possible.
Mapquest will give you a local list, just as it does with its
"regular" function, but not a map of the entire US!(Imagine the file
size if the map were for the entire US, and included thousands of
sites!)

Click onto ?Business Category?, enter ?Thrift Shops? (without the
quotations, of course). Enter a city and state. (I randomly chose
Dallas, Texas for the city.)
117 locations for Dallas, Texas were returned! Each store has a
?Clickable Map? next to the name. You can do this for each and every
city in which you have an interest!

Yahoo Maps does the same thing! Using the features the same as in
Mapquest, select ?Business? , enter ?Thrift Shops? and your city.
Using Dallas again, Yahoo Maps returned 160 choices! (Some pawn shops
seem to be included). A clickable map is available for each shop.
