Hello mehta-ga
Here is some information along the lines of your query.
Haysworks recruitment agency claims to have the largest database of
candidates and jobs in the UK. Their salary surveys are broken down
by key job titles and geographical locations and are presented as pdf
files which give a minimum-to-maximum salary range They also offer a
specific salary analysis based on your industry sector, company size,
turnover and town, but do not indicate whether or not this is free.

Hello Parveen,
I thought that you were looking for specifics, because you said you
wanted the scales to be by sector, job type and region. Anyway, I've
had another look for more-general information.
Since you expressed interest in the Adecco surveys, I searched for
them first. The Adecco surveys are on their web site at
http://www.adecco.co.uk/press/release1.htm There is a separate Word
document for each region, which can be downloaded. The wording at the
top of the page "full regional surveys can be downloaded form the
bottom of this page" implies that these are the complete reports,
although they are not particularly detailed. According to their data,
West Midlands saw the highest rises in the country, with pay levels
being 5.5% higher than last year.
The CBI issues data on pay settlements in its press releases. These
are not regional, but may give you a further feel for things. Go to
http://www.cbi.org.uk/, click on "Press Center" and then on "Press
releases, by date" The latest figures are dated June 14. You will be
taken to a summary of the findings, and below that there is a link to
a pdf file with graphical data. These are comparisons between the
service and manufacturing sectors.
I did search quite extensively, but I'm afraid I did not find anything
more specific to your sector.
