Years ago, a friend of mine lent me a music cassette containing a number of different songs sounding as if they were being sung by monks. The only word I remember from the cassette box was "Taize". I have since come across other Taize music CDs and cassettes but none of them are as fantastic as the one I borrowed. The only track I can remember contains words along the lines of "For the victims of violence...we beg the tender love of the redeemer". I would be delighted if anyone could identify this specific song or, even better, the name of the musical collection it may have appeared on. |
