Richardallen,
Can I come with :) ? LOL I've got a long way to go to retirement
myself, but I think I have some places that you would enjoy.
My first recommendation would be Montego Bay, Jamaica. "Key Largo,
Montego, baby, why don't we go...." See, even the Beach boys have a
vote in for this place. Located in the Caribbean, it offers
temperatures ranging from 72 to 89 degrees yearly.

In Central America, Panama has a very steady climate, at around 26
degrees Celsius or 78.8 degrees Fahrenheit. The city of Boca Del Toro,
located on the coast, offers a calm relaxing breeze and escape from
some of the inner areas of panama, which can get very warm during the
"dry season."

Also in the Caribbean, there is St Lucia. This beautiful island offers
great year around temperatures, a wonderful breeze that drops the feel
of the heat down about 5 degrees in the sunshine, and beaches.
CLIMATE:
Summer 95/75 degrees F.
Winter 85/65 degrees F.
Humidity ranges from 66 - 94%. (Usually low)

In South America, Caracas Venezuela is another beautiful place to go.
It's also the capital of Venezuela. With highs in the upper 80's and
lows in the lower 70's year around, you'll have beautiful weather. The
humidity and precipitation are low there as well, so it's not needed
to worry about that.

Also in S. America, you have Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Temps range from
67 degrees Fahrenheit to high 80's, low 90's. Its home to Carnival, a
time of revelry.
"As a major city, Rio de Janeiro has all any visitor could expect and
more. Excellent restaurants, sophisticated nightclubs, charming bars,
musical extravaganzas, theatres, cinemas, museums, art galleries,
fashionable stores and shopping centers, and world-class sport.
As a tropical resort, Rio de Janeiro offers a wide expanse of golden
beaches, near perfect weather the year round, hotels to appeal to
every taste and budget, folklore, typical foods and music,
sightseeing, and the feeling that the visitor has really been abroad
and to somewhere very special. None of this takes into account the
overall beauty of Rio de Janeiro that has made the city famous and
revered throughout the world."
