In doing a search for "Are We Our Genes?" by Rose, Lewontin Kamin, I
can not seem to find anything with this article. Could you please let
us know where the excerpt of the article is from? Did you see it
online, in a book, or??? If we know where the article/excerpt came
from , and what you're needing us to do, we can answer your question
much better.

Lewontin et al wrote a book called "Not in Our Genes", which is the
work I believe you are referring to.
However, without knowing what specific excerpt from the book you are
referring to, it would be awfully hard to answer your question.

The excerpt is in a book called "The Study of Human Nature" edited by
Leslie Stevenson and the excerpt is called "Not in our Genes: Biology,
Ideology, and Human Nature" Sorry for the confusion

Ok, so, we've determined this is the book the exceprt is from
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0394728882/002-5571530-7377611?v=glance
Now, we just need to know WHICH excerpt from that book.
An excerpt is:
A passage or segment taken from a longer work, such as a literary or
musical composition, a document, or a film.

So, we would need the page #'s of that book that the excerpt is on.
To be blunt, it sounds like you have a college textbook, which has an
excerpt of this book in it, and you have to write an essay or answer a
question on this topic. Unfortunatly, I doubt any of the reseachers
have this textbook lying around, so that we can read that excerpt.
This would require finding a copy of the textbook with the excerpt
online or in hard copy
