Hello zkel-ga,

The major players in the Chicago area appear to be these guys:

Abbott Laboratories
Acumen Pharmaceuticals
Advanced Life Sciences
Argonne National Laboratory
Arryx, Inc.
Baxter International
BioSante Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Chicago Technology Park
Chromatin, Inc.
Nanodisc, Inc.
NeoPharm, Inc.
Nextran, Inc.
Northwestern University Center for Biotechnology
Ovation Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
Pyxis Genomics, Inc.
University of Illinois
Xomix, Ltd.

==========

I'd be more than happy to compile the addresses, stock symbols (where
appropriate) and links to the companies for you, if that information
would meet your needs.

A much larger list of companies involved (in one way or another) with
biotech in Illinois can be seen here:

http://www.ibio.org/membershipResources/memberprevlist.asp

I'm afraid that sorting this list for Chicagoland companies, and then
compiling address and website information would involve a level of
effort well beyond that usually associated with a question at the list
price offered.

Would the first list of major companies meet your needs? Or are you
in the market for a more detailed listing?

Please let me know how you would like me to proceed.

Thanks.

At this point, I'm more interested in a comprehensive list of company
names. For instance, your findings didn't capture Morton Grove
Pharmaceuticals, Inc. I realize it is too much work to get addresses,
links etc.; I can do that on my own.

Thanks,

Zkel
