I guesss I must be stuipd as I do not know what you mean by my other
question. I did modify my question from the original and made it 15
cities instead of 10 . That came from the first comment below about my
question being confussing and I should explain it better. But the
second comment about cancelling, being I do not know what answer the
researcher is talking about, I do not understand?

Hi again, ronilee,

Please see the answer I gave you on this question:

http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=340605

You can easily find the top 15 cities using the state links - for
example, here is Alabama.

Alabama:
http://www.world-gazetteer.com/d/d_us_al.htm

(x1000) 2004

Prattville 27.2
Prichard 27.9
Phenix City 28.8
Madison 34.2
Florence 35.7
Gadsden 37.7
Auburn 47.3
Decatur 54.0
Dothan 59.7
Hoover 65.4
Tuscaloosa 80.7
Huntsville 166.5
Mobile 192.9
Montgomery 202.5
Birmingham 238.2

It's not hard to do, just a bit time consuming. Given the price of
your question, I assumed you just wanted to know where you could
extract the information yourself. I'll do another for you (I hope the
formatting comes out ok) -

Arkansas:
http://www.world-gazetteer.com/d/d_us_ar.htm

(x1000) 2004

Benton 24.0
Russellville 25.3
Bentonville 26.1
West Memphis 28.1
Texarkana 28.7
Jacksonville 30.6
Hot Springs 36.8
Conway 47.6
Springdale 53.6
Pine Bluff 53.9
Jonesboro 58.2
North Little Rock 60.1
Fayetteville 62.5
Fort Smith 82.4
Little Rock 185.4

It wouldn't hurt to double-check those to make sure I didn't miss
something. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Regards,
hummer

"Selected" is confusing. Florida has Miami, Orlando, Sarasota, West
Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Tampa, Saint Petersberg and Talahasee, most
of which are amoung Florida's ten largest cities. New York State has
Queens, Bronks, Brooklyn, Manhattian, Rochester, Buffalo, Sarycuse
Senectity, Kenmore, Utica and Niagria Falls most of which are among
the ten largest cities in New Youk State. How many more states should
we select? Do you perhaps want the ten largest metropolitan areas
rather than cities? Do you want data on the ten largest cities in the
USA? Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Cleaveland, San
Francisco, Boston, Atlanta Georgia, Pittsberg, Pennsylvania, Miami,
Florida, Dallas, Texas, Manhatten, NY, Fort Worth Tex. Neil

You should cancel this question or a reseacher may answer it, not that
$2 will break your bank. It appears you got a good answer to your
other question which covers this one. Neil

Neil, What other question. It appears that we are not on the same track.
