Need spelling of name of former Seminole chief.  Pronounced Oscuala,
nothing under that spelling, or under Oscwala, Osquala.

I have a feeling you're going to kick yourself when you read this,
but:

The Seminole chief you're looking for would be Osceola, a resourceful
and intelligent leader who was something of a childhood hero of mine. 
Florida's Osceola county was named after him.

A search under that spelling turns up 270,000 hits in Google.
