I need to know how I can get a copy of a matchmaking/compatibility
(including compatibility for marriage or compatibility for ?serious?
dating/relationship/romance) questionnaire and/or matrix of categories
of compatibility that could be used to make such a questionnaire, that
is **in the public domain and/or is available royalty-free **.
The data can be available as either a book, or electronically, or as a
web page. But I need 1) exact instructions on how to get a copy;
i.e., it?s at Amazon or some other online bookstore or available from
the Department of -- at www.xxxx.gov or by writing XXX; 2) if the
information is not itself available on the web, I would need some kind
of description/overview/review/abstract of the work online.
The reason my budget for this project is so little is that basically
you either already know or think you know of such a document and/or
where to find it, or you don?t. Not a huge amount of research
involved in the first case, and in the second case, this could really
take an extraordinary amount of time and effort, believe me; and
further, I don?t need you to write a lot, just point me to the
resource and if it?s not clear why it?s a good resource, I?ll ask for
a clarification with specific questions (which I might do, be warned).
Important points:
+This has to be a questionnaire that can be used to match two people
together; not a questionnaire that determines the compatibility level
of two people who already know each other.
+The questionnaire has to be accompanied by an explanation of how to
use the answers to determine the compatibility of the two people. The
answers don?t have to be complex, but I want to make clear that what I
need is not just the questionnaire but a whole system for matching
people. I want the teacher?s edition, not just the workbook.
+Ideally this questionnaire will have at least 100 questions and/or
categories/subcategories/data points of compatibility, or could easily
be expanded using the system it is based on (which would have to be
explained in detail).
+The questionnaire either has to have come from a government or
professional agency, or research or academic institution, (in any
country, as long as it?s in either English or Spanish, the only
languages I speak), OR has to have had some kind of track record of
success, and by a track record of success I mean more than a few
testimonials, I mean that the test was widely used in a certain place
and/or time and was credited with matching people successfully. Yes,
a questionnaire based on folk wisdom counts as long as it has some
kind of provenance.
+I don?t care how old the questionnaire is. It could be from the
nineteenth century. It could conceivably be from ancient times,***as
long as the principles involve putting together a relationship based
on personal compatibility*** and not simply some buying guide for
purchasing women like horses or some system based on determining
compatibility based on the socioeconomic background of the individuals
involved.
Background: I am working on creating a matchmaking system for a dating
web site. I need a questionnaire whose answers will be used to match
the site?s members a la eHarmony.com (but not using their system, of
course, we need something different).
Thank you for your time and consideration. |
