Hi lizardnation-ga!

It's been a long time.

Aside form the chemicals mentioned here, I was able to find a
particular supplier already for the others but I need clarification
for the following:

I cannot find references to these 2 chemicals. Can you please check if
there are no errors in the spelling.

COLERITIC-CCMM40
SODIUM-LAURELSOLPHATE

As regards to the next chemicals, there might be errors in spelling on
the following since the references I found carried by major suppliers
are spelled this way.

XANTHAN GUM
Coco Betaine
Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate
Sodium Metasilicate Anhydrous

Finally some chemicals are referenced rarely. Are these correct
suppliers for the products mentioned below. Are you ok with these?

1. DOWICIL (1500 ppm)

Dow (Is this the product?)
http://www.dow.com/../../biocides/prod/dwcil150.htm

2. SODIUM HYDROXIDE (ph adjuster 8.2 to 8.8)

Reference I found: http://www.akpetrochem.com/processed_food.htm

--------------------
Another point of clarification is that I wasn't able to find (examples
pricing per measurement unit) on the products. Will you still accept
this as a legitimate answer.

A sample answer is like the next link. Am I correct in the type of
suppliers you are looking for.

Forafac

DuPont

Thanks! :)

Hello Easterangel,

It's been a while. :-)

I'll get back to you on your points in regards to correct spellings.

As to pricing, are you able to communicate via email with the sources
to get a quick and typical price example? I would prefer a price
indication for comparison with current sources.

Also, are you focused on a particular region or are you looking for
worldwide sources?

Are you familiar with some of the major B2B exchanges out there whom
might ease your task?

Hi lizardnation-ga!

I did not attempt to email the sources but just try to find if they
have the product you want. I was thinking that it may take sometime
before they give out a response. Do you want me to email these
companies or would it be ok to provide an email or other contact
address here?

I did not limit my searches to certain regions. As long as I can find
a supplier for the chemicals, I adopted it. I did not use any of the
exchanges since they usually require somebody to register.

How about this. If you need to use traditional sources, that would be
fine, but I would need some sort of response from the source on
pricing or a list of these are published by them which is rare.

If you can go ahead on emailing them or calling them, I'll review the
effort in the tip. ;-)

Thanks.

Ok lizardnation I will try.

I will unlock this question in the meantime so that other researchers
might be able to provide a faster and more accurate solution than
waiting for an email. Other researchers might be able to have contacts
within this undustry that might be a better way to approach the
problem.

Thanks! :)

Hello lizardnation-ga,

What types of quantities are you anticipating buying?

There's a huge price difference for buying laboratory quantities of
chemicals (say, 500 g or so), and buying commodity chemicals by the
ton. What sort of buyer are you?

Also, in my experience very few sellers will provide price information
without talking directly to the potential buyer about specifics of the
order -- how much, how often will you be buying, when needed, what
quality, etc. I'll look around, but I am not optimistic about the
prospects of finding much pricing information.

Let us know what you think.

Hell pafalafa,

This is for a factory which produces many Oil industry supportive
chemicals focused on safety in the work areas and environmentally
friendly disposal of birpducts.

Quantities would be for a factory that is situated within the Gulf
Countries region and supplies that region.

Thank you.

"SODIUM-LAURELSOLPHATE is probably Sodium Laureth Sulphate or Sodium
Lauryl Sulphate.

Try searching http://www.made-in-china.com/ for the chemicals; or
Google Catalogs if small quantities are needed.
