Question ID: 340832
We are a small company that is looking for a company that can
franchise a brand to us. One example is McDonalds where the stores
franchise the McDonalds brand. Only we are interested in the market
for EMployee and Customer Loyalty. There are several big companies out
there that offer a good product such as www.siebel.com, but not anyone
we can find that is looking for partners. So we are looking for a
company that can sell a complete package including sales materials,
brand, product descriptions, consulting help such that we can start
operating in this area.
The successful answer should point us to between 3 to 5 options for
finding a company that provides this complex offering.

We are not looking for CRM software. Instead we are looking for a
complete "plug-and-play" company package that can help us get started.
There will naturally be software included in the offering we are
looking for, but that is just part of it. The software must be able to
run employee and customer satisfaction surveys such as
www.forespringer.com for example.

Hi!

Can you give us a fictional case for such a complex offering. For
example company A produces this types of products and has a loyalty
program.

Thanks!

www.snapsurveys.com
www.naglobal.com
www.perseus.com

All of these offer the software, but none offer the idea of setting up
new offices based on their software.
The fictional company that we are looking for would:
1) Offer a business model like pay some of our revenue back to the main company
2) What kind of training they could give us
3) What kind of advertising material they would give us to work with
4) How we should put together projects such that we could earn money
while the parent company also got some kind of license
5) How they would enable us to work with other partners they might have

Here is my suggestion:
Regardless of which company you select, there will be a lot of
customization work. Siebel and other leading companies are expensive
and do not normally allow re-branding except in large joint venture -
even in that case, they insist on joint labelling such as the
IBM-Siebel On Demand hosting app.

It would be better for you to work with smaller companies, who will be
happy to customize it for you at a fraction of the cost, and also
allow you to re-brand the application as your product/service
offering.
