I'm looking for the NAME or, preferably, the WEBSITE of a yoga studio
in New York City's Washington Heights neighborhood (zip codes 10032
and 10033). I believe it is located on Fort Washington Avenue. Have
had no luck by yellow pages, Google geography search or walking up and
down Ft. Wash. Ave. It existed at least 6 months ago and did have its
own website. Can you help?

Hello Margo,

I think I've found the Yoga studio you're looking for. It's called
Electic Yoga and it should be fairly close to the GWB if memory
serves.

Electic Yoga offers a variety of yoga styles including Anusara,
Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa, children's yoga, parent/baby yoga,
along with Pilates. They offer 40 classes per week, taught by 14
teachers, many who are Washington Heights residents.

I trust this is the information you need but I'm available for any
followup questions you may have. It looks like a lovely environment
to unwind from that crazy city pace. The old neighborhood needed
something like Electic Yoga. Enjoy!

Exactly what I was looking for, and a friendly response to boot. I'd
give it a top rating except that it wasn't a terribly challenging
request. I'm very satisfied and will certainly use again. Thank you!

Anything I can do to call off your door-to-door hard target
pedo-search of the neighborhood, I'm happy to help. ;-) Your question
was indeed a two-clicks-away answer -- it's all about knowing where to
look. How's about putting me down for a class with Jamie? My
goodness, isn't *he* a cutie!
