Hello! I am involved on a research project that is trying to better utilize existing research content. Our group maintains about 12,000 research papers in a specific discipline. We are also launching a website dedicated to news/developments in research work in this discipline, this summer. We would like to automatically generate metadata for these 12,000 research papers and present pertinent research papers as suggested links when an end-user happens to read a news article on our website. We would like a list of automatic metadata generation algorithms/software on the market (both proprietary and free ones). Please note that we are more interested in generating 'keywords' for each of these research papers rather than describing the number of pages, size etc. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks, TVR |
