Question ID: 341580
How many Nissan vehicles sold in the United States in 2002 and 2003,
respectively, were equipped with side airbags? If possible, how many
for 2004, thus far, had side airbags?

Note: I am not asking how many vehicles had the OPTION of side airbags
but rather how many actually HAD side airbags. Please ALSO note that
side impact airbags (typically comes out from the door of the car) are
NOT THE SAME as SIDE CURTAIN airbags (typically come down from the
ceiling just above the window).

Hello carlinhb -

Amazingly, I just got a call back on a source for an answer to this
question about 45 minutes before it will expire. So you'll have to
post another question to my attention if you'd like me to supply an
answer. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The data are "model year" based, and it encompasses all X year Nissans
that "have been produced and will eventually be sold" in the USA
(where X is the model year). So perhaps you'd want data for something
like 2002 and 2003 models, along with perhaps 2001 (they don't have
2004)

It will cost about $75-$120 depending on how detailed you want it. If
you'd like, you can post another question to my attention with a lower
question list price to accommodate the extra you'd have to spend.

Thank you,
