Hi gemere,
It would appear that Robert Kee is still alive - we've not found
anything to the contrary. He was born in 1919, so that makes him 85
years old. At least we know for sure that he was alive just a few
months ago -
London Metropolitan University: 13, January 2004: page 8:
Robert Kee received an honourary degree:
"ROBERT KEE CBE is an author and broadcaster with a distinguished
background in journalism and also worked at The Sunday Times, BBC,
TV-am, LWT and Yorkshire Television. He was awarded BAFTA?s Richard
Dimbleby award in 1976. He is the author of 13 books."

Fortunately, he authored thirteen books, which is your best bet for
trying to contact him by going through the publisher - afterall,
they'd have to know his whereabouts for royalty payments and/or
permissions.
Probably his last book:
«The Laurel and the Ivy: The Story of Charles Stewart Parnell and
Irish Nationalism»
Hamish Hamilton, 1993.
Hamish Hamilton is an imprint of Penguin:
