Muze Inc (www.muse.com) provides a good amount of the background info on the albums, artists, etc... http://maccentral.macworld.com/news/2003/10/27/muze/ When Casady and Greene Inc dissoved, their SoundJam development team was picked up to continue development on the iTunes jukebox. (From the Internet Wayback Machine archive: http://web.archive.org/web/20030627232905/http://www.soundjam.com/index.html) The logical assumption is that the C&G SoundJam developers were a part of the initial iTunes development. Closest article that backs up that assumption refers to iTunes as a "derivative work" of SoundJam MP. http://www.sciencedaily.com/encyclopedia/apple_itunes If you're looking for a specific person's name, Jeffrey Robbin is probably your best bet. |

Note to researchers: The information provided by trackzero refers to iTunes as a MP3/Jukebox program, not the iTunes Music Store itself. |
